The effectiveness of the United States Constitution has been a source of conflict and differing opinions since it’s very concept was first introduced over 100 years ago. However, there are points to be made which can affirm its positive effect on democratic society. Through the course of the Constitution’s existence, the civil liberties expected by American citizens have always been well protected and used as proof of innocence in courts of law.
