Fundamentals of Football: Offensive & Defensive Philosophy
When it comes to offense my basic package is a single back formation with one tight end and three wide receivers. From this I would normally run a West Coast offense. My running back would have to have some speed and good hands because I would throw numerous screens and dumps to him. The tight end would not only have to block pretty well because of the vacancy of the full-back but also he would need to be able to catch the ball a lot because this is a quick throw offense.
