Almost every American in today’s society has used marijuana at some point in his/her life. Marijuana use is one of America’s largest drug problems today. Our nation has been fighting this war on drugs since the 1960’s; however, people still continue to import and use marijuana frequently. It has been said that in order to greatly reduce the use of marijuana in America, it should by legalized. Legalization would allow the government to control marijuana imports and this would in turn reduce the amount of marijuana bought illegally.
