Creatine: The Supplement of the 00’s

Athletes are so competitive and reach for such high goals, that when they hear of natural substance that enhances their performance, they become very interested. Body builders are excited about new supplements that will increase their muscle mass more quickly. One of the newest most popular, substance on the market today is designed to increase endurance, body mass, energy and strength. The newest form of substance is called creatine monohydrate. This supplement has become the newest, most popular, muscle building addictive of the 1900’s. Athletes and body builders are excited about this supplement; however, they may be putting their lives on the line with creatine.

There are many different ways to take creatine. There is powder, which is the most popular choice by most users who choose creatine because they feel that they will get the full effect with this form For example, on the eleventh of April, Jason Montgomery was interviewed and he stated,” I only feel the full effect with the powder, it feels like it goes straight to my muscles. As I researched the product, I felt as though the other forms were not useful as the powder. Also I asked my friends who are currently taking creatine, and they all agree with taking th

Almost everybody wants the so-called “perfect body” but with all the things that people have to do, not many are willing or able to put in the time to obtain the desired look. If a person wants that perfect body above all else they will do whatever it takes to get it and must be willing to work at it. People can have the perfect body without the help of performance supplements as long as you desire and have good work ethic towards getting the desired look. With the supplement creatine being so new and un-researched it will only be a matter of time before the results of long time creatine use will be discovered and everyone can judge for themselves whether or not to take the supplement. “Performance enhancing supplements” are a $100 million dollar a year business that has not been around for more than a decade. People will know the answer soon enough, Until then people should watch out for themselves and their children in making the decision on whether or not to use creatine. If you choose to take creatine or another supplement remember to be smart and watch the effect that it has on your body and you should remember to visit your family doctor every few months to make sure that everything is still okay and that it is not having any kind of negative or harmful effect on your body, also be sure that you drink plenty of water while taking the supplement, just a few extra glasses of water a day could mean the difference between the creatine helping you or it doing something very negative to your body that might linger on with you way past the time that you stopped taking creatine. People may like the way that creatine makes them feel now, but will it hurt them in the long run? Creatine may be safe for some but very dangerous for others and cause side effects that hamper the performance of a person’s body whether it is a physical or mental side effect all side effects should be taken seriously and treated as soon as it becomes known that a person is suffering from one. To all athletes, extreme performance can be done without the use of creatine so why take the chance of never playing sports again because of the results gained from the use of an improper or hazardous supplement. To all body builders and people out there just trying to look bigger, why risk the chance of possible kidney, liver, or muscle damage and never lifting another weight again. Until more research is done and they find out if creatine hurts or helps you to increase your performance, all users are taking a risk of the unknown physical and internal health problems that creatine can create. The use of creatine will always be present in all sports and asking people to stop using it is achievable only in a dream world as long as there is people out there who are willing to give up anything to succeed then you will see the rise in popularity of creatine and other “performance enhancing supplements” But is success now worth the price of you health and well being in the future and for the rest of your life? That is a question that can only be answered by the individual and most of the time sadly the answer will be one that leads to troubles later on in life, but this is a world of free choice and everyone is free to do what they feel is the right thing even if others know that is isn’t.

e powder form “(Montogomery, personal interview). The powder was also the first type out on shelves. No one knew of any other form, therefore powder was his or her only choice. However, it wasn’t long until creatine came out with a new more convenient form, it was gum. It is new on the market and there are not very many people who know about it. There hasn’t been much advertisement on the gum form, therefore no one knows about this form. When Kameron Hart was interviewed he stated” I didn’t know about the gum, until I saw it on the shelves in the store. So I decided to try the gum and I didn’t like it at all. It didn’t taste good and it seemed to ta
