My favourite piece of music
Let me start by saying that I prefer classical music to pop music. I wish everyone could understand me. Nowadays less people listen to classical music, but not me. It calms me down very quickly. If not for classical music I would be nervous all the time. I want to tell you about my favourite piece of music. It’s Beethoven’s “For Elise”. I first heard it at the concert of the very famous orchestra in Kazan and liked it from the very beginning. Had it been possible to turn back time I should have done so. It is very hard for me to describe the feeling that I’ve got, the first impression was excellent. I’ll try to go back to the time when I first heard “For Elise” and describe my emotions to you. The violins played very softly and sadly and the piano would join in, scattering silver showers of notes or perhaps wandering up and down a ladder of quiet chords, and then I felt myself very quiet and happy and sad at the same time.
