People should not have weaponry other than police officers because people will hurt other citizens with guns, knives, swords, and many others. All guns can hurt people. Guns are bad in the wrong hands and useful in the right hands. Guns can also defend you if a burglar comes in or someone that is a criminal comes in and invades your privacy. Also if you are outside and someone or an animal comes up and attacks you are protected by a gun. But although guns are self protection they are still bad so they should be against the law to have at home.
