My real father bears no financial contribution to the upbringing of my two sisters and I. He is unemployed living in Southern California, and has neglected to pay even one child support payment. He owes my mother over 100,000 dollars in back child support. My mother was unable to attend college and therefore has a low wage salary of 34,000 dollars a year. Her earnings are exhausted by the cost required to raise children, and can solely cover the necessities of life. Currently she is trying to earn her degree in her spare time at home. If it weren’t for my stepfather, who was also unable to get a college, then our family would not be able to live.
