All students should be manditory drug tested
All Students should be mandatory drug tested Athletic groups and non athletic groups are the only ones to be drug tested at this time in the city school systems. This means that the ones that are not on a team or in a school club of some kind are not subject to mandatory drug testing. Random mandatory drug testing to all students should be preformed in schools. Some activity programs that are considered for mandatory drug testing are football, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, choir, band, math club, chess club, library club and any activities that meets the guide lines of the Arkansas Activities Association or any group that is sponsored by the school district. School systems are making it mandatory to sign a contract that these groups are eligible for Mandatory drug testing before they are able to be a part of any extra activities. These students also need the backing of authority this will provide them with the ability to change by a treatment program and a little push by their parents to better themselves. Drugs affect health, behavior, learning ability, reflexes, and the total development of each student.
