The French and British Behavior Towards The Native Americans
During the 16th and 17th centuries the British and the French treated the Indians two totally different ways. The French had a positive attitude with the Indians while the British on the other hand did not. The French went into North America with the thought of making a little money and not getting in the way of the Indians. The British wanted to dominant and control the land even if it did belong to the Indians even if that meant killing them.
When the French came over to North America they did not plan to build a community and stay. They came over with one thought in mind, to make a little money. So by having this plan they weren’t really threatening to the Indians or their land. When the
