The Christian Bible is made up of an Old and a New Testament. While followers of Christianity wrote the New Testament, the Jews wrote the Old Testament, which they called the Hebrew Bible. Even though Christians did not get along with Jews, and did not conform to all their beliefs, Christians did incorporate the Hebrew bible into the Christian Bible as the Old Testament.
