Some people use different methods and I wish they were all successful, but reality has to be met and certain people are suited to different methods. And in this essay my best methods will be discovered.

For years the only way assignments and other imported tasks such as exam revision were completed was on a night before basis. Procrastination was the only way that I went through high school. The ‘I’ll do it later’ syndrome had me by neck, but after reviewing some different learning methods such as OHRATS and SQRRR I built myself a method of learning that I believe aids in my learning ability. The ease in which this can be implemented makes the need to procrastinate disappear.

OHRATS means overview, headings, read, answer, test and study. This is an alright method to read articles and take note

Some people prefer to do the work by themselves without the assistance of anyone, so that the work is all them. These types of people have the greater satisfaction when they succeed. But I am one of those people who have to make sure that everything is traveling alright with progression. Just incase. I find this better because if you have made a mistake it will be found out before it is marked. I believe that people who ask questions as they go succeed more because they are always making sure.

s. It seemed to easy to just quickly skim an article by looking at the overview and headings and then read the article. This works but does not suit me perfectly and I find myself taking short cuts. So although it is a good method it is not the one for me.

SQRRR is the method whereby you survey, question, read, recall, review. This method seems more to be my sort of method. I think of myself as having very good recall ability. This is an attribute to the SQRRR method.
