Halo the flood Book review
In the first chapter called "The Pillar of Autumn" you find out about a race of aliens called "covanent" and how they races of humans and covanent rage at war. These aliens are faster and more manulavble as we confict with each other in space. you are breifly told about a planet called reach that was destroyed and how the spaceship "The Pillar of Autumn" was runnign from the desaster. A person that is a commanding officer is called Master chief and is a great worrior is intoduced along with other key characters such as cortana (the Pillar of Autumns Arificial Intelegence that can pilot, evaluate situations and help the capitan) and Capitan Keyes, the commanding officer of the ship. As the ship runs form the covenant attack on their ship they run into a Giant metal ring that is 23 kilometers thick and over 7500 kilometers long. As they found this "ring" they were atacked brutaly by the convant and they have to abandon ship. The capatin pulls out a small computer chip containing Cortana and hands it to Master cheif to get to saftey with it. This so far is a good book, and I can really see what they aer talking about casue I play the game on multiplayer A LOT. I never play the single
Hes informed that the captin has been captured and he must after he can get enough marines together try to rescue the captin and the whole "command team". He enters a ship called the "Truth and Reconsiliation". This is a covanent ship that has been docked because of the damage the capatin was able to do to it before it brought the Pillar of Autumn down. John has to go in and get the capatin and fight their way out.
