When we get into trouble, we will always seek God and ask for His help. The time when we really want something so desperately is the time we’ll solemnly pray and ask God for it. Once we got what we wanted, we tend to forget about Him and get on with our lives. Nevertheless, if He did not fulfill what we ask for, we’ll get angry and blame everything on Him. This makes me wonder at times, why we, the creation of the Almighty whom He loves so much, could be such hypocrites? Shouldn’t we thank and appreciate the Almighty for what he has done for us? Have we forgotten that He only knows what is best for us? Don’t we realize how precious the chance given to us by the Almighty to ask Him what we want?
There is no doubt that there are a few people among us who appreciates this chance. As for me, if I could ask God one question, it would on relationships. Why do couples fall in love and then experience heartbreak? Isn’t there eternity in love? I have heard so many tales of couples breaking up after being together for so many years. In addition to that, I have also heard so many marriages that are breaking up becau
se of their spouse’s differences or because they do not love one another anymore. This made me wonder; don’t they realize they have lost something so precious, something that they have cherished for so many years? Though I have not personally experience any heart breaking moments, yet I have experienced the pain of being with my loved one. Many questions have been bugging my mind since then. Why isn’t love a smooth sailing ship as how we have perceived it to be? Why do we have to encounter so many problems just by loving someone? Until today, I have yet to get some of the answers to my questions. It seems to me that love can be considered as something so subjective and complicated; more like an unsolved mystery.
Isn’t it wonderful if we could see what our future would look like? At least, we could do something to make things better if we know we will be facing problems in the future. This is another question, which I would want to ask God if I had a chance. I would like to know what would I be in the future. Would I be a successful anchorwoman as I hope to be or will I be the otherwise? Will I face problems in my working and private life? W
