Comparison Essay
When I was told that I had just received 950 and was able to go and on a vacation or buy something for my self or my house I was excited I had so many ideas that I wasn’t sure where I would start. Then I started to look up a whole bunch of different places I would I be able to travel to. I went to many sites like yahoo.com and goggle.com. They were helpful but it wasn’t until I came a across a couple of cruise’s that I would be affordable and in my budget. The site was Travelocity.com. One was with the Disneyland cruise ship a seven night eastern Caribbean Cruise. The other was a six night Caribbean (Fort Lauderdale round-trip) cruise on the century. Both of these trips seemed real nice but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend all of my money on one cruise so I started to compare the two. The Disneyland cruise was for seven nights and the price they were asking for when I looked it up on Travelocity.com was starting at $799.00 per person. The cruise highlights promises some magical entertainment. On the Disney cruise we would be able to enjoy the tropical wonders and beautiful beaches of St. Marten, St. Tomas, and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. While on the ship they offer you legendary service, fantastic entertain
ment, exciting nightlife, and incredible dining. The shipboard accommodates all meals, and daily actives. Some of the actives would be sailing or windsurfing going snorkeling and shopping. This all sounded so great and wonderful especially around this time of year, when it is really cold outside and I would rather be sitting on a beach somewhere. But when I looked at the price I decided I could probably get a better deal. So I stated to look at the Travelocity.com again to try to find something else. And like said, I came back to the Caribbean cruise the price for this one ran from $560.00 per person. This cruise was even better because they had some special offers like if you book your ticket by the 26 of February you would receive $25.00 cash back per stateroom. And if I were to use my MasterCard I would receive another $25.00 back. This cruise also had some great highlights for the Western Caribbean on the six-night cruise aboard the Century. We would first stop in the Coho Rios, Jamaica, where there are waterfalls and beaches for all of the sightseers. Then we would be able to take a stroll along the Seven Mile beach on Grand Cayman Island. And still be able to visit Cozumel, Mexico, a fascinating port known for its stunning coral reefs. I would also be able to spend a relaxing day at Fort Lauderdale. The entertainment seemed wonderful it would also include formal dinners and buffets, Broadway-style shows, and featured entertainers. This was perfect I was thinking off all the memories that I would make and remember for the rest of my life. The prices
