The Age of Reason, The Industrial Age and The Romanticism period all were just a glimpse of the 19th century. By now America was living in urban housing developments and driving around in motor vehicles. It was no longer how many horses pulled your carriage but how much horsepower was under your hood. Dirt roads were no longer dusty and dirty, for that matter they weren’t even dirt they were pavement and or stone. Even our language was being updated with words like futurism and expression
