Miles was 18 at the time, a freshman attending a local community college. A sudden transition occurred. Miles was no longer at this house party, he was out on some street that seemed strangely familiar. He begins to walk down this street. He sees someone running towards him in the distance. It is completely dark out. No street lights accompany this seldom used road. Miles had finally distinguished who the man running was. It was the same man that Miles had given a ride earlier. He stopped a car and yelled that there had been a bad wreck and that someone needs to call the police and an ambulance. He finally realized which road he was on. The same road in which his parents had died less than a year ago. He made himself snap out of it and come back to this surreal reality he was experiencing.
