Each year, in excess of 300,000 people die due to obesity affecting nearly 60 million Americans nationwide and today, it’s the second leading cause of unnecessary deaths. In fact, the healthcare cost for American adults alone is $100 billion, so the next time you think about eating that chili dog or Big Mac think again because it could be your last. The public better step up on this dramatic problem that effects the lives of everyone, teaching children and youth the core ideas on why they need to eat healthy and stay in shape.
