April‘s issue, will include articles giving beauty tips, solutions on how to deal with boyfriends or spouses, career problems, ideas on how to alleviate stress with feature articles on “Sexy Apparel” and “How To Tease Your Man” by Dr. Phil. On the other hand, the Jennifer Lopez “Glow” perfume promotion uses the slogan “Fresh-Sexy-Clean” fragrance to appeal to today’s women. This advertisement also has very sharp sexual connotation. The ad features a showering, nude Jennifer Lopez, with steam and a strategically placed arm covering key body parts, to endorse the slogan’s claim. The ad lacks some of credibility in that, it is not exactly clear where the light source is located to produce the finger tip glow; where the wind source is to cause her hair to blow in the breeze and, why she is wearing a head scarf in the shower. However, the perfume bottle is cleverly designed to replicate a smooth and curvaceous women’s body and is shaped much like Jennifer Lopez herself. The perfume bottle, devoid of any adornment except for the “J Lo” jewelled necklace further emphasizes nudity.
