The change in the Union’s flexfunds is a selfish maneuver by the University to recover debts that affected the residential dining. In fact, part of the logic of the flexfunds is that it will reduce the Union’s congestion of students using meal plans during optimal hours thus attracting real money from off-campus students, community members and faculty. I think it’s quite apparent that the students aren’t coming first in this manner.
