Terror
The plane continued over plumes of smoke and debris from below. Explosion after explosion, the plane as if a detonator, destroyed any building it flew over. Horrified, the passengers watched as the city of New York was vastly being reduced to rubble. Then, as the plane approached a monstrous building, just yards away…………… Oh my god, what was that? Oh, good it was just a dream. Honey, wake up, I need to talk to you; Jonathon said waking up to panting and a cold sweat. What, don’t you know it’s 3:30, and you need your rest for the flight to Los Angeles in the morning, His wife Barbara said? That’s exactly what I need to talk to you about. I had this dream, it was a little strange, but the plane I was on, for some odd reason, caused the city to burn down, Jonathon said. Now, you know that’s impossible, are you just saying this because your afraid to fly, you know you can’t miss this appointment. I know I can’t, but I can reschedule. That’s impossible, you waited too long, and you’ve had this appointment for a year. I know, but I still don’t want to go. If you don’t go, you could lose out on a multi-million dollar contract, don’t you want to put Isabelle and Mark in college, Barbara said
Move, move, get out of my way, I have to get up there; my husband was on one of the planes. I’m sorry miss, but our orders are to not let anybody in the towers at this point. I don’t care what you’re orders are mine are that you move before I get really mad. I’m sorry miss, but you may not go through. At that point she strikes him hard enough to knock him unconscious. When she finally gets through the crowd of people trying to exit, she can see smoke begin to bellow out of the building, she has no clue what she’s doing, so she begins to run. She runs with all her might, looking at the numbers she passes in the stairwell. 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th floor, she runs and runs, with no clue what is going on in her head, just that she has to save her husband. Just as she passes the 36th floor, her phone rings. She feels the urge to answer it. Honey, where are you? Oh my god, Oh my god, it’s you, I’m so glad to hear your voice. She begins to cry with joy, and her heart gets so heavy she falls to the ground, thanking god. Don’t go to the site, whatever you do, don’t go to the site, they say it’s going to collapse soon. I’m on the 37th floor, I thought that you were here, and I felt that I could still save you. You went to the tower, why, why? Where are you, you didn’t make the flight? No, I missed my flight, we got stuck in traffic, and it took off, before I got there, you know as well as I do, no one could survive a crash like that. Jonathon, you have to be joking, you’re lying, you’re lying aren’t you, Help me, please help me!! Get out, Get out now. Why, why did I come down here? I don’t care why, just get out, I can’t lose you. But the smoke, it’s so thick, and I can see fire. Get out, just be strong, think of the kids, think of how you brought them here, you can’t leave the kids, you can’t leave me. GET OUT!!! It’s too late………I love you, Jonathon; tell the kids I will always be there with them, in there hearts. You will never be alone. No, get out, get out, you still have a chance, get out!! Bye Jonath………………………. As Jonathon hangs up the phone, he feels a great pain in his heart. His wife, trapped by the smoke, sat down from the happiness of hearing her husband’s voice, but with the smoke and fire filling the air, she begins to suffocate, and that’s it for her, until the tower falls. She knew after that, she
