Managing Individual Performance – Simulation Questionnaire

1. What criteria should a team leader use when selecting members of a team?

There are several ways that the team leader can select in order to create a positive team. The team leader must have vision and purpose of what the team is to achieve. Here are some positive values team leader must consider: full participation, trust, open communication/converse with each other, support for each other, compromise, openness to new ideas/teaching styles and willingness to change.

2. Who did you select from your team in the Simulation? What strengths did you see in those you selected? Why did you make these choices?

I selected ENTP and ENFJ to be my team member. I see very good people skills and intellectual abilities as the strengths in ENTP individuals. I also see the benefit of ENFJ individuals, who can contribute their big goals, vision, and natural skill to my team. With their warmth, compassionate, and friendliness toward people, they are good in helping others with problem solving.

3. What factors do you need to consider in order to manage your team effectively?

Full participation – everyone contributes their time and energy to achieve the same goal.


5. Briefly describe what each personality preference means in the MBTI assessment and how this may affect the way an employee carries out his/her task.

I understand that each person has their own working style.
