BASEBALL
Baseball is played and enjoyed all over the world. To play baseball, you need a ball, bat and glove. Baseballs are made by machines. At one time, baseballs were made by hand. There is a small cork in the middle which is covered by two layers of rubber. Three layers of yarn are then wrapped around the rubber. The outside cover is stitched with sturdy red thread. Bats can either be made from aluminum or wood. Youth usually use aluminum bats since they can’t break. The professionals use the wood bats.
