Although matured, there are also many different feelings that occur. Many of these adults will have feelings of betrayal. Adults feel this way since their parents were married for a long period of time and give off the sense of undying love. Their new announcement of divorce leaves confusion and frustration to the adult.

Adults dealing with their parents divorce are better at finding their own relationships. Adults faced with parental divorce are less likely to have failed in their own relationships. This is true because they are not around fighting parents like smaller children and teens. They are also less likely to have a failed relationship because they will be more cautious when choosing their life partner.
