Egypt is located in the northeast corner of Africa, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea on the north and the Red Sea forms most of the eastern boundary. Only three countries are on Egypt’s borders: Libya to the west, Sudan to the south, and Israel to the east. Egypt is similar to the land are of the U.S. state of New Mexico.

Things such as electronics, fancy gadgets, robots, computers, etc. Most people would only make enough money to support themselves for today. Instead of having fancy cabinet, desks and shelves, some people would store their belonging in a jar, and hang the jar from the ceiling due to the lack of money. (King, 24) Also, the main risk in doing business in Egypt is the situation external to the country, with specific reference to the conflict in the Middle East and the focus on terrorist activities flowing out from Moslem countries.

Egypt’s economy relies greatly on natural resources. Whereas agriculture and industry is weaker considering only four percent of Egypt is arable land. Natural resources include: oil, hydroelectric and thermal power, phosphate, manganese, and coal. (King, 28) Agricultural goods include: cotton, corn, rice, wheat, sugarcane, vegetables and fruits, sheep, camels, goats, cattle, donkeys, and water buffalo. (King, 28) Its industry business include: iron and steel, aluminum, food processing, cotton clothing and other textiles, and also tourism. (King, 28)

The structures that have been built thousands of years ago still fascinate us today.
