The thermos bottles have played a major role in the success; these bottles are so successful because of the vacuum technology. More companies should try self-managed multifunction teams because of what it could do for the company. These teams could hit different customer groups when the company is in the process of developing a product. Talking to the customer groups that the product is aimed at will give the company free ideas that will greatly improve the product, and of course when a product caters to the consumers needs there will be more profit. These self-manage teams will also open up different job opportunities in the company. This is important because you can have present employees get promoted to take over positions in the areas the managers have left, thus leaving openings in other areas of the company. Open positions in companies are great because this could be away for our economy to improve.
