What is Art, and what isn't Art, where the border is. I needed a "clear", "short", "easy" definition, a definition I could remember anytime I looked at something I liked or even disliked, whenever the question "-is-this-art-?-" would come up to me. So, I started "really" looking; I searched Encyclopedia, I asked friends, I looked into dictionary. I did get many "definitions", but none of them was satisfying to me. There was always something "missing", something "unclear”, too many definitions had to do with "beauty". I looked inside of Encyclopedia to find a definition of art. It says: “Art, a disciplined activity that may be limited to skill or expanded to include a distinctive way of looking at the world. The word art is derived from the Latin ars, meaning "skill." Art is skill at performing a set of specialized actions, as, for example, the art of gardening or of playing chess. Art in its broader meaning, however, involves both skill and creative imagination in a musical, literary, visual, or performance contex
