The religion of Islam is a very peaceful and loving religion. The word Islam is derived from 3 letter root s-l-m-, as the Hebrew word for peace, Shalom. Its used as a greeting, and the Muslim meaning peace to god. “Allah” is just another word for god, the same one worshipped by Christians and Jews. The religion will let anyone who wants become Muslim. They must say the profession of faith, and believe it. Muslims view their entire life on Earth as a test of god. They must live their lives and try to be as close to god as possible. Islam is a very forgiving religion, even if you believe in god just a little you will eventually be let into heaven. Almost all instances of freedom and self expression are because of local custom only. Wearing veils is not required by the Muslims. Its may be a law that’s required in some countries. If their countries laws allow it women of the Islamic religion are free to dress and behave like women of any other religion. There has always been respect for women in Islam. Back in the 7th century Islam said men and women are equal. Women had the right to won and inherit property, seek divorce, gain an education, and retain a family name. Before this women had little or no rights. The treatment of women has 4 main rules. First paradise is under the feet of the mother. Second a good wife is half a mans religion.
