A Comparison and Contrast of American and British English
American and British English have the same origin, Elizabethan English, but these two
types of English are somewhat different from each other today. The different social and political events have largely influenced these two forms of the language. Because of the distance between these two countries, both these forms of the language could have developed in their own directions and the differences between them can be easily spotted.
