My Opinion of the Purpose of National Honor Society To be inducted into the National Honor Society would be a great respect. While being in the National Honor Society others look up to you, such as your friends, piers, and even teachers. My opinion of the purpose of NHS is to acknowledge those who are leaders and those who achieve in school and in their community. Also, letting them know they are being effective to our community. The National Honor Society is a very respectful program in our school. In my opinion NHS has a great purpose: to recognize those who are leaders and those who succeed. NHS brings the members together so they can achieve together. Members can work together to contribute to the community. It lets people know that doing good things should be a goal in life and that there is a reward: success. National Honor Society brings a group of people together who are achievers and leaders. The school and the community are very important. Donating blood to the American Red Cross Bloodmobile and raising money for the American Cancer Society benefit our community and are school. I would like to see our MECS chapter be apart of our elders in our community. They are very important because they helped us become what we are today. NHS members should influence the student body with a positive attitude and good behavior. Teachers, siblings, and underclassmen can be influenced be a NHS member. Being a leader or having good behavior are a few ways. Everyday people are admiring someone or someone is admiring them. Either way this is something that always happens. As part of the NHS you will be admired or influencing a friend or a younger person. Behavior of a member can be very influential. Always have good behavior. Being respectful to your teachers and to your friends is part of your behavior. Another part of your behavior is being on time and handing homework in on time, these are just a few examples.
