Girls basketball
This year the girls basketball team is not doing as well as some may have hoped. They have played six games and two scrimmages. The girls were defeated in all six games and won only one scrimmage. So that leaves there record at 0-6 because scrimmages do not count for their record. Their next game is on the thirteenth against Oklahoma. It is going to be at home, right here in Nacogdoches at 2:00. It is going to be a hard game and the odds are not in our favor. The lady jacks are expected to do well in conference play. They are picked to win the conference. Stephen F. Austin has eleven teams against them in the conference. We will play all of them. Some of the teams , we will play twice. SFA has a really hard schedule this year. Last year we had the third-toughest non-conference schedule in the league. Last year we were the runner up in the conference.
