A Wild Family Affair


            There she was the lonesome girl all alone in her bedroom, she was a girl of eighteen years old with no brothers or sisters to talk to. The girls name was Sajda. She came from a very strict Muslim background when her parents were together. Since her dad left, Sajda was very out going and wouldn't be at home most of the day, she would come home late at night and wouldn't speak to her mother properly. Sajda's grandparents were living in Pakistan, her mum (Saida) was thinking of going to Pakistan for a holiday, but there was one thing stopping her, Sajda! She couldn't leave Sajda by herself in England and it would not be suitable for her to go to Pakistan especially when her exams were coming up so soon.
             Sajda's father (Ali) left her when she was seven. Sajda's father was a very independent man, but what he could not bare was his wife Saida (Sajda's mother), they were constantly arguing everyday about silly things, but with mutual decision Sajda's parents both decided to call it a day when Sajda was seven. Sajda's mother was being treated for depression in a hospital regularly as she couldn't the bare loss of her ex husband, she regretted ever losing her husband. One thing Ali kept (Sajda's father) a secret from Saida and Sajda was his affair with a lady called Tracey. The only person who knew Tracey from the family was Sajda, she only ever saw Tracey once that was when Ali and Tracey took Sajda out, but Sajda was too young too remember if her dad was doing anything suspicious.
             Saida had no relatives in England they were all in Pakistan. As Sajda was born and raised in Bradford, she had a lot of Asian friends and connected well with them. Saida had one good dear friend, she was like a proper sister to her, Saida then asked Aisha her friend, if she would look after Sajda for until she comes back, Aisha thought to herself well I couldn't not accept to look after her for awhile, Aisha pleasingly said yes I"ll look after her.
