The story is set in a small town right out side of Atlanta Georgia called Clifton. The story involves two main characters, Nicole who is the wife in the story trying to get her husband to overcome his habit to sleep around and only focus on her. On the other hand Barry the husband is the one who is not going for it and continues to do as he pleases using his wife throughout the story. The story begins after the two had been married for 6 months and were about to have a baby. It then continues on with a fairly good marriage running between the two. But as the baby arrives the relationship runs dry and after being told about her husband Nicole works hard to get her husband to stop what he is doing by any means necessary. Although she did work hard it was not good enough because after meditating under a tree she woke up and went and caught her husband for herself with another woman and called their relationship quits. This is a nail-biting dramatic tale where the old dog in the story shows that he will never learn any new tricks because it is him and what he does is what he does.

One Friday night while the baby was with granny, she had cooked up his favorite and was waiting in her lingerie for him to come home and be happy, unfortunately when he got there he left right away and Nicole couldn’t believe he resisted.
