Unfortunately people have always tended to blame a whole race for what some individuals have done and that generates more hate and misunderstanding between cultures. To conclude, today, the world is a small place; all the cultures are opened to one another. That’s why there is no place for racism. Encouraging racism is very wrong. I think that by condemning all racist groups and racist leaders, stopping the encouragement of racism on the media; making people appreciate their differences; and protecting those who are getting discriminated are very crucial to get rid of racism. Life is hard enough to live, what would it be like to be also discriminated against. Getting rid of racism is very realistic and very easy. There is no superior race in this world, because perfection is not from this world. Once racism is gone, the world will be a better place to live in.

Finally, protecting those who are getting discriminated against is also very important. Hating someone simply because they look different is wrong, but watching racist acts without doing anything about it is also wrong, because otherwise nothing will change. I think that everyone must have the courage to do what he believes in. I have read a small article called “Not Laughing”, written by John Sammon, in which he tells an experience that he lived in his childhood in the 1950’s. While he was playing baseball with his friends at the school yard, a Mexican kid wanted to join the game. Everyone refused and beaten him up.
