I enjoyed the story Talk by Harold Courlander, because I thought it was funny and entertaining. This story is about a talking yam and one of my favorite parts of the story was when the yam yelled at the farmer because he hadn’t weeded him in a long time. “Well, at last you’re here. You never weeded me, but now you come around here with you’re weeding stick. Go away and leave me alone.” I thought this part was very amusing.
