Cocaine and Crack

Cocaine is the most powerful central nerve system stimulant in nature. Cocaine is white powder made from the coca plant in the Andean mountains in South Africa. Thousands of years ago cocaine was used for religious ceremonies. As time went by people who lived in the Andean mountains either made tea from them or chewed on the coca leaves. They did this to relive mountain sickness, hunger and sometimes for refreshment. Crack is smokable. It usually appears as off-white chunks, chips or rocks. It is probable that cocaine dealers, seeking a better market for an existing of the drug, developed the process to expand their user opportunities, since this method allows small amounts to be sold at very low prices.

It causes the heart to beat faster and blood vessels to draw together (to constrict). This defiantly makes the risk higher of strokes. The use of this drug gives a large appetite and makes the user feel more alert, energetic, and self-confident, sometimes even more powerful.
