Children should not be told stories about any kind of suffering or war that has happened. Since history has repeated itself before, we do not want such disaster to renew itself. World war II could have possibly be prevented if it had not been for World war I to set the example. Children who read such stories will definitely be disturbed, but may also concur that such a calamity is right in their minds. Children tend to lead by example. We do not want a World war III to happen so why lead children to disaster? Children should not read any stories of wars or catastrophe becaus

If society could prevent children from seeing or hearing any negative comments or stories, a perfect world could be created. There would be no destruction or war and children and adults would not have to hold anymore burdens that they would have had to carry in earlier years. Of course this is only a dream and will probably never become a reality, but I dare to dream. Reading the death house, I was very shaken up for days on end. To think that women, men, expecting mothers, children and even babies were put into gas chambers with the illusion that they were to take baths is not only appalling but sickening as well. I cannot believe that such horror stories were actually lived out. It is one thing to hear of such stories, but to read them and realize that the world was once I disgusting place is shocking. I do not think that children should be given this material to read because I believe the children are our future. We are relying on them to make our world as nice a place as it is now for centuries to come.
