Dance

I remember when my friend Tony and I tried to start a dance crew; it was going to be a dance crew that used two dancing styles break-dance and rave dance. Both Tony and myself had a great interest for both dance styles and had both experimented with the styles by trying to self teach our selves how to rave dance and how to break-dance. Rave break dancing is a dance style that mixes vibrant colors such as glow sticks and black light fluorescent materials, fast pace music, flashing lights, and fast pace body movement and aerial movements to make a really fun past time and hobby, many people that start good enough crews get sponsors and get paid for going places and dancing. Both of us knowing how to do little of each style let us know that we had a lot of work ahead of us if we wanted to be taken seriously.

The first thing that I can remember Tony and me doing was looking on the internet for tips on moves, music to dance to, and books that we may be able to find on helping us be successful with our crew. After looking on the internet and finding many techno songs that would be suitable for break dancing and raveling. We study the songs and tried to find a certain beat to dance to, just to get a feel for the music and to get to kno

We decided to hit up the crews and show what we had, we looked for a place with a large number of crews attending that night, that way our name would get out faster. Tony and I dance our hearts out giving every last bit we had, since it was our first performance we didn’t want it to be a bad one. Some of the crews we could tell were impressed, others thought nothing of it, and some were now afraid of us. We like to think that our dream has now become a reality and a success, we try and go out as much as possible and we try to come up with new stuff on a regular basis, to ensure that we don’t get old with the same routine over and over again. We are happy with where we are and we are soon going to try and get others to join our crew to make it grow, and bring more ideas in to it. Tony and me are happy cause we took something that we had known little about but had a great interest in, and made it come true and now have our own crew, maybe some new crews will get together to make the competition more exciting, we are always up for a new challenge.

After Tony and me took our minds off of the dance crew idea a new idea came to one of us like we knew one would, Tony had suggested going to a rave break-dance club and checking out some of the other crews to see some moves and see some of the composition. A great idea Tony had, we could not only see how to do some moves that we had an idea about, but we could also see how many crews are regularly at clubs and see how good each of them were. We stayed at the rave for about 3 to 4 hours to get a good idea of each crew that was there. There were many crews that were very impressive and that were very helpful on informing Tony and me about certain moves that we had a small idea about, we were sure that we were off to a good start. Tony and me decided that since we were there and that there were crews there we would visit with a few of the crews to get an idea on how they had started. They all said that they didn’t want to give out their information cause then that may cause another crew to out dance them. Not much information to help out crew b
