Critical Incident Analysis

Working for the International Motor Group was my first job in New Zealand. I was fortunately to be employed as a car cleaner. I was also proud to be a staff member of this company. I thought that it was an easy job, you only needed to use water, power and your hands. However, when I started this job, I knew clearly that it would not easy for me, especially, the first day of my job.
"You always make me late, broken guy!" I complained to the alarm clock. Time did not allow me to have enough breakfast. I could feel the hot sun hasten my legs to run faster and fill my heart with fear and excitement.
Many staff had started their work when I arrived there. I stood beside the gate of company with palpitations in my heart. This was a small company with few staff. I could not find the boss when I looked around. "Lucky for me that the boss is later than me", I thought inwardly with relive. I went into the reception room and sat on a comfortable sofa. "So boring!" My left hand opened my CD player and right hand took out my snack. A big pretty dog shook its tail towards me and licked my shoes. "I knew that you would like to eat my delicious breakfast. But I would not give it to you." All morning, I listened to music, ate food and played with the dog until the boss came. .
In my memory, the boss was kind Indian man who had married a friend of my auntie. I always thought that he would give me a simple job and tell me clearly that every step I should do. This time, my heart was pounding when I faced to him. I thought he was going to glare and swear at me. But, instead, he was still kind towards me, he smiled at me. "Nice to see you! Franky. I am being late today because I was busy this today. Have you learnt anything form the staff this morning? Could you start your work from this afternoon?" .
I looked for a long time at him in silence, hardly breathing at all. Suddenly, I realized I had made a serious mistake. The boss has given me half a day to learn how to do my job from the staff.
