It's A Distraction
Going to a University can mean many things to the adolescent teen. It is a chance to open their minds, broaden their horizon, make steps to a fulfilling career, and of course to get away from the peering eyes of the guardians they love so dearly. Many come to college ready to learn, and focused on what they want to accomplish. But what happens when something distracts these students from the important studying they are obligated with? Are these students able to surpass the difficult temptations of distractions over a text Many things can keep the student’s eyes from their studies such as: television, music, friends, gossip, and the ever popular relationships. The opposite sex has been a distraction for the typical student ever since puberty. Yet, most colleges are co-ed, so this problem is dealt with everyday. Not only are colleges co-ed, but so are their sleeping quarters. For some time now there have been co-ed dormitories. Female and male students have been sharing the same building, the same bathrooms, and some colleges have the opposite sexes share the same rooms. With the majority of the students being young and hormone-crazed, co-ed dormitories are a distraction to the average college
picture, so they can get done what needs to be done.
