My music choice changed slightly this past summer. Normally I wouldn’t even consider listening to country music. During my childhood years my mother burnt me out on country music. I went to concerts and listened to that crazy noise constantly. When I received my first stereo things changed.
After my first stereo US99 was deleted from my mind. I no longer had to listen to that county crap. My own choice of music could now be made. Like most children B96 popped right out at me. I knew every song they played inside and out. After about a week my mom regretted getting me that stereo, I listened to the crap she didn’t like now.
Many years pasted and I still continuity listen to rap, R&B, alternative, and anything else, but country. My sixteenth birthday arrived and I received a car. I needed twelve stations to
My summer before senior year finally approached and concerts seemed like the thing to do. My friends and I planned on going to see Dave Mathews Band and all the different bands that play at Summerfest. These two would just get us started. People began to mention Country Thunder.
A couple of weeks before Country Thunder, US99 frequently appeared on my radio. Actually, that’s all that appeared on my radio. My friends and I needed to learn some country songs so we wouldn’t be completely out of place at this thing. Country Thunder finally approached and excitement ran through our bodies.
