What does it mean to be a mature responsible adult? What is the process to becoming a mature responsible adult? What are the benefits of being a mature responsible adult? Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If’ answers the questions we all wonder. How do we become mature adults? Kipling describes first how to ignore what other people think about. We do not have to worry what other people say about us, because then that will make us vulnerable to more attacks. A mature adult should be able to walk away from gossiping and hating others. Each lesson I learn, will make me more mature and able to handle life much better.

A loyal person is someone who is devoted, trustworthy, and reliable. “If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you” (3), means that just because others doubt you, does not mean you doubt yourself.
