To me a saint is a person who does the will of God despite his or her own want to follow her own. Another characteristic that a saint should have is humbleness, this characteristic is very important in the life of a Saint because it enables her to become selfless in order to serve others. I say serve others because that is what Jesus did. He served his community, he healed the sick, and he washed the feet of his disciples. Jesus is the prime example of humbleness and if anyone is to be called a Saint then she should do all for the glory of God and not for her own glory just as Jesus did.The saint that I have chosen is St. Teresa of Avila.
