The Matrix is a film which appeals to both male and female audiences, however mainly targeted at male. The film includes a lot of sci-fi action and martial arts, which makes an increased amount of males attracted to it. In addition it also has a romantic scene which probably has a demand to women more than men. Age range would probably vary from 15-25 years due to its heavy action scenes and modern age twist.
