Fritz, author of the article “Domestic violence hurts children as well as adults”, has proven another point of view on the subject of domestic violence in the Brown University Child and Adolescent Behavior Letter. Gregory Fritz states that domestic violence has been around for centuries but has recently been proven that it also affects the children in the same household. I think that a child witnessing violence between parents will receive that image as a thing that is right to do . Children mimic their elders and believe that they only do good. Another reason being a child may grow up being disturbed in some way due to the vison of his or her past life. Also the fact that where domestic violence occurs there’s a high percent of child mistreatment being present.
