The world today is composed of various controversial gun issues. Firearms depicted in movies, music, videogames, and television have created a plethora of arguments. Some problems illustrated over this matter comes in form of censorship. Violence and lyrics are the most popular forms of media that are censored. These restrictions often violate many of the founding freedoms of American society, and place limitations on the entertainment experience.As movies become progressively violent in cinemas today, people start blaming them for many of societies problems. Some main arguments that pro-censorship protesters use when discussing this topic are that people commit hate crimes because of the violence depicted in movies. What they do not realize is that the guns do not breed violence, however, other problems lead to violence. The definition of violence is a very intricate and has many different perspectives. Many people say “poverty, racism, inequality, chemical imbalances in the brain, and toy guns” are the underlying causes for violence and aggression (The Causes of Aggression).
