Typically, adolescent boys and girls initially develop strong relationships with members of the same gender and then later feel attracted to the opposite gender. This attraction may begin at any time during adolescence. When feelings of sexual interest in others do begin, these feelings often take the form of crushes or infatuations. An infatuation is an intense but short-lived period of interest in another person.
Although the feelings can be overwhelming, few lasting relationships develop from an infatuation. THese intense feelings are usually one-sided and are often directed toward people who are distant and out of reach. Having infatuations, nevertheless, is a sign that a person is developing the ability to form strong attachments.
Everybody is entitled to keep a secret. There is a place in the woman's heart where a man may never enter and this should be kept that way.
The beautiful thing about the past is that it is but a fond memory. Your first love is most likely one that you look at with reminiscence. There is no saying that you should forget about her completely while you are with your current girlfriend. Keep that fond memory for yourself. Your
