1) Josh Gibson was a catcher for the Negro League. Josh led the Negro Leagues in homeruns for ten years. There are not many players that can say they have done that. His homeruns ranged in their length from 500 feet to 580 feet! In 1972 he was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame. I think that if Gibson had played in the Major leagues he would have been an amazing player. He had talent; sometimes better then players on the Major League teams. In the Major Leagues a player usually doesn’t led in homeruns for more then a year or two; Gibson led for ten. He was a remarkable player and should have been given a chance at the Major Leagues.
