If you were to lose everything today, the only thing people would be able to judge you on is your character. People who know me most intimately would describe me as an honest, trustworthy, and dignified person. For me, to be thought of in such high esteem is a great honor, and I couldn’t see myself doing anything to compromise that honor. My experiences in volunteer work and in high school, in general, have built on my character a great deal. Maintaining good character is important to me because I believe it is the basis of your personality. Character affects almost everything in your life from relationships to your career.

Being a leader requires great responsibility, but it is also very rewarding. Although I am not in any official leadership positions in my school community, I feel that I exhibit leadership qualities in the classroom and in my position as a tutor.
