It is also my responsibility, as a citizen of democracy, to be knowledgeable of the rules and regulations of our society so that I may be better capable of serving my country in a positive fashion. It is my duty to lead by example so that others may look to me for leadership, guidance, and inspiration. It is also my obligation to learn as much about the history of our nation to solidify my commitment to democracy and all this country stands for. I must be able to exhibit passion and persuasion for my personal convictions and beliefs so that others of our society will follow me down the positive road of life, liberty, and the pursuit of justice.
             As a citizen of democracy, my obligations to society are many. I must exhibit a willingness to take the time to groom our local, state, and federal elements of our government into a well oiled, finely tuned piece of machinery. The infrastructure of a democratic society requires constant vigilance and on-going care. As a citizen of democracy I must participate in the electoral process and educate others on the pros and cons of any given political argument.
