Patrick Henry’s “Speech to the Virginia Convention,” employs both emotional and logic arguments to convince Virginians to revolt against Great Britain.
Patrick uses the technique of swaying people’s decisions by using their emotions throughout his speech. For example, in the first paragraph Henry tries to start the emotions of the Virginians by saying that it is their responsibility to God to attain freedom and fight against Great Britain.
